Alaris® Syringe Module

The Alaris® Syringe module is a syringe pump designed to work with the Alaris PC unit. It combines precision instrumentation with the safeguards of the Guardrails® Suite MX software, helping ensure that the right dose or rate is delivered to your patient.

The syringe module is intended for facilities that use infusion for the delivery of fluids, medications, blood and blood products using continuous or intermittent delivery through clinically acceptable routes of administration (e.g. intravenous, intra-arterial or enteral).

The syringe module uses a unique pressure sensing disc which shortens the time to alarm, accurately monitors in line pressure, reduces delays upon infusion start up and decreases inadvertent bolus following occlusion release.

  • Accurate flow rates from 0.01 mL/hr to 999mL/hr; instrument accuracy +/- 2% dependent on syringe variation
  • Accepts syringe sizes from 1mL up to 60mL with automatic syringe size detection
  • True set-based pressure sensing disc features, including fast start, occlusion back off, numeric pressure display, auto-pressure and configurable alarm settings from 25mmHg to 1,000mmHg in 1mmHg increments

  • Ergonomic, one hand, front-loading with syringe mis-load alerts and bitmap display
